Early freelance workvisual & brand
archivedsince 2013
Before I started as a software developer, I worked as a freelance designer during my undergrad. It began as free design work for friends’ businesses and local shops. That work got noticed, which led to paid projects, and then to freelancer.in, where my portfolio brought in clients from universities abroad and established brands.
Starting for free
I began by offering free design to friends’ businesses and local shops. It built my portfolio and taught me what real businesses need. Once it caught on, people started asking for work, and I earned pocket money while still at university.

Going global
With a growing portfolio, I joined freelancer.in and started getting projects from universities around the world (academic branding and promotional materials), from Pure Lush Juice (bottle design and packaging), and from other brands (sticker designs and product videos).
